Moniaive Folk Festival

Moniaive Folk Festival
A great w/e was had by all, despite the torrential rain on the Saturday morning, which eventually cleared giving us blue skies and on Sunday the wind had dropped to, so was perfect.
Got me some orders and made a few sales, I could have sold the turquoise mitts many times over
Was wonderful to reunite with so many friends- happy to be folked in Moniaive
Taking a bit of a break from crochet just an hour or two in the evening as I really do have to paint the house, it needs some TLC and then I can relax and concentrate on orders and another idea and more sparkly/fluffy lighter holders, yep they were the winners, strangely enough as was the plastic pots, one young girl bought one and put it on her head, well it was raining!!
Su and Maria were very happy with their jackets - phew :)

Cashmere and Plastic!!

Ultra fine hand painted cashmere [from Hipknits} in soft greens gold and camel. Next some playing with plastic, what to do with all those carrier bags, but it's awful boring folding cutting and then knotting to roll into balls

Well all my stuff is about to be packed up ready for my trip back To Moniaive Folk Festival, not sure what I will be working on when I get back, should really get painting on this house before it gets to hot, a bit of both each day with luck.
